Position Summary

The Payroll Quality Control Specialist role is designed to c the day-to-day projects and activities of the organization's payroll quality control initiatives. This position will report to the Payroll Quality Control Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for formulating and implementing strategies and policies related to payroll quality control initiatives.
  • Facilitate payroll subject matter training.
  • Handles projects and tasks assigned to the Payroll Quality Control Team
  • Point of escalation for complex payroll issues.
  • Ensure payroll software system is compliant with state and federal mandates.
  • Perform root cause analysis and tracking of errors occurring in the payroll department and create SOPs

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Intermediate to strong skills in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ Payroll experience
  • 4+ Management experience
  • 4+ in the PEO Industry

Required Licenses and/or Certifications

  • CPP required to be obtained for this position
