Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
  • Assemble and install millwork components according to design requirements
  • Make field modifications as needed to ensure a precise fit
  • Use a variety of tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and finishing millwork materials
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of components
  • Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot and solve installation challenges as they arise
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Be flexible to work on various shifts based on project needs

Qualifications

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
  • Tool Knowledge: Skilled in using a variety of tools and machinery for millwork fabrication
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve project goals
  • Attention to Detail and Safety: Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • Problem Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities to make field modifications and adjustments
  • Shift Availability: Flexibility to work on all shifts based on project requirements
  • Knowledge Base: Strong knowledge of millwork materials, techniques, and installation best practices
  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial millwork assembly and installation
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
