Essential Duties and Responsabilities 

  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategy development.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Set up and maintain cost controls, monitoring expenses and improving cost efficiency across departments.
  • Collaborate with various teams to provide financial insights and support operational decisions.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Manage New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) compliance requirements.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities 

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
