Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports to the Quality manager.
- Responsible for monitoring all CCPs; filling, seaming, processing, and labelling.
- Responsible for environmental monitoring; upholding GMPs, cleaning, batching and filling.
- Verification activities
- Cleaning (atp, protein swabs)
- Kit ingredient quantities
- Batching critical factors (pH, total solids)
- Fill weight checks
- Headspace checks
- Seam evaluations
- Pressure checks
- Post-process destructive evaluation
- Raw material inspections.
- Alerts management to any food safety concerns they encounter.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Taking accurate measurements
- Recording and interpreting data
- Manage the day-to-day quality program activities.
- Oversees kitting, batching, filling, and heat processing.
- Manages all daily records.
- Spanish is a predominant language, so if we find someone with awesome experience and that fits great the Quality Technician, we can submit them even if they only speak Spanish
- We are looking for someone that would be flexible with their schedule, open to longer shifts if necessary
Education & Experience
- 1 year (Required)
- For the Quality Technician there is a "Better Process Control School " which could be a plus but is not a requirement.
- Candidates with a science degree.
