Position Summary
Our organization is seeking a Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) Director to oversee short-term residential services for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. This leadership role involves both clinical and operational oversight, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based care to adult patients in a structured, recovery-focused environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the CSS program and multidisciplinary team
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and clinical standards
- Serve in a rotating virtual on-call leadership capacity
- Oversee the use of restraints and emergency interventions in accordance with policy
- Ensure fiscal accountability and program efficiency
- Develop and implement care protocols that support stabilization and transition to long-term recovery
- Collaborate with medical, clinical, and administrative departments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication, team-building, and decision-making skills
- Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
Education & Experience
- Licensed clinician (LMHC, LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of Massachusetts
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
- Demonstrated experience with emergency protocols and restraint procedures
