Position Summary

The General Manager serves as the chief operating officer of a flagship ultra-luxury residential tower, uniquely co-branded with a globally recognized entertainment and lifestyle brand. This property represents a fusion of high-end residential living and curated lifestyle programming, requiring exceptional operational leadership, strategic brand alignment, and white-glove service delivery.

The General Manager will lead all facets of property operations - staff performance, financial management, owner and resident satisfaction, vendor coordination, and asset preservation - while executing a brand-forward vision that reflects the lifestyle partner's ethos of exclusivity, creativity, and cultural influence. This role demands an elevated sense of hospitality, marketing sensibility, and deep expertise in managing world-class living environments for UHNW individuals, celebrities, and tastemakers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic & Brand Leadership

  • Champion the brand values, aesthetic, and service philosophy of both the property and the affiliated lifestyle partner.
  • Implement a multi-year operational and experiential plan that reflects the expectations of luxury real estate, hospitality excellence, and lifestyle branding.
  • Translate brand DNA into tangible, daily resident experiences including events, activations, and environmental ambiance.

Resident Experience & Lifestyle Curation

  • Maintain exceptional relationships with residents and homeowners, acting as the face of the property and brand.
  • Ensure delivery of bespoke, anticipatory service with emotional intelligence and discretion.
  • Curate on-site programming in partnership with the brand's creative and events teams—ranging from wellness activations to cultural, dining, and entertainment experiences.
  • Monitor and enhance satisfaction metrics using data-driven insights and proactive service recovery strategies.

Operational Excellence

  • Supervise and coordinate all property operations including engineering, security, front of house, housekeeping, IT, and valet services.
  • Enforce best-in-class standards for cleanliness, safety, maintenance, and functionality.
  • Design and lead operational protocols that meet or exceed Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond benchmarks.

Financial Oversight

  • Lead development and execution of annual operating and reserve budgets; monitor performance and drive strategic cost management without compromising service.
  • Provide timely, data-rich reporting to the Board of Directors and brand partners; identify risks and opportunities to ensure long-term property value.
  • Evaluate vendor and supplier agreements for quality, cost, and brand alignment.

Team Leadership & Culture Building

  • Recruit, train, and inspire a service-minded team reflective of the property's luxurious and creative identity.
  • Lead with accountability, empathy, and structure while fostering pride, belonging, and innovation within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and uphold a continuous improvement culture.

Brand Integration & PR Support

  • Coordinate with the lifestyle brand's marketing and PR teams to ensure alignment across events, communications, and media opportunities.
  • Act as on-site liaison for influencer visits, branded shoots, and partner activations.
  • Maintain discretion and control over access, photography, and resident privacy policies.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Ensure full legal compliance with Florida condominium statutes, property insurance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support governance obligations including annual meetings, board elections, and policy implementation.
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or high-profile resident needs.

Education & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working with branded environments or partnerships (e.g., hotel brands, entertainment, wellness, fashion).
  • Sophisticated understanding of the luxury lifestyle market and the needs of discerning, high-profile clientele.
  • Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering elite service outcomes.
  • High emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and discretion—especially in resident and celebrity relations.
  • Familiarity with Florida condominium law, reserve study processes, and developer turnover requirements.
  • Proficient with modern property management software, technology platforms, and CRM systems.
