Marketing and Business Strategy developer - FL

Position Summary

The Marketing and Business Strategy developer will be responsible for identifying potential networking opportunities including but not limited to trade shows, conferences, and local events as well as new client and influencer introductions. The position will also be responsible for educating potential clients about the FEC's visit experience and services and as well as pursuing future growth opportunities. This role requires an individual to be highly social, driven, accountable, and motivated to develop new business relationships. This position requires the participation in local networking and social events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and help develop strategic relationships with local potential customers and local community leaders/organizations.
  • Identify marketing gaps.
  • Work with management to implement business development initiatives, plan and attend local Events/trade shows/presentations, and conferences.
  • Generate business through outbound lead activity and research companies, organizations, and institutions to identify new prospects.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.
  • Use the assigned CRM system to effectively track and maintain a pipeline of potential visitors.
  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly strategy reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • We work when others play! Must be able and willing to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must be familiar with the Orlando area.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Demonstrated skills in relationship building, networking & trade show attendance.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and accountable.
  • High level of integrity and trust.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Action driven.
  • Excellent knowledge of ALL social media platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office & CRM software
  • Other Requirements
    • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
    • Must have reliable transportation to be able to travel within the state of Florida.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Communication, Public Relations or similar fields OR 3-5 years of solid experience in Central Florida Entertainment and/or sports OR 3-5 years of experience in Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants.
