About Us

A law firm in the heart of South End, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Marketing Strategy & Growth Manager to develop, manage, and help execute the firm's marketing plan and growth initiatives which include the opening of new regional offices. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing leadership position in a legal or professional office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with attorneys and staff to understand the firm's objectives and initiatives including the expansion of the firm to other regions outside of the Charlotte area, i.e. Carolinas High Country, Carolinas Coast, and South Carolina.
  • Help create, maintain and execute the annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plan to expand the firm's reach and client base in the existing and new markets.
  • Help establish and manage the firm's digital marketing strategy including managing the firm website, digital newsletter, Google Ads, SEO, social media, etc.
  • Manage the client referral tracking process and establish procedures for measuring marketing results from various sources: client referrals data, digital newsletter, website analytics, social media analytics, etc.
  • Coordinate marketing and advertising opportunities with local publications and organizations
  • Work with vendors to create digital and print marketing materials
  • Maintain website content
  • Plan, create, and review content for digital newsletter
  • Assist with design, creation, and publishing of digital newsletter
  • Assist with planning coordinating conferences, seminars, and events
  • Assist with planning and coordinating the Firm's signature annual event, the Annual South End Shuffle 5k & Mile Run
  • Identify marketing opportunities beneficial to the growth of the firm
  • Other marketing and events related tasks as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Technical proficiency in MS Office products
  • Familiarity with website management and design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Must be able to take initiative and ownership of projects and tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at a time
  • Professional, friendly, organized and a good team player

Education & Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional marketing strategy role
  • Experience with WordPress strongly desired
  • Experience with social media management/marketing including content creation, scheduling, engagement monitoring and advertising on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter/X
  • Experience with MailChimp or similar digital marketing platform required
  • Graphic design experience is a huge plus
  • Experience in participating, working, and/or volunteering in a running race strongly desired
