Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the operations of an exclusive, ultra-luxury residential condominium in Downtown Miami. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented individual with a strong understanding of high-end residential living and exceptional resident relations. The Assistant General Manager will assist in managing staff, ensuring seamless service delivery, maintaining the property's impeccable standards, and fostering a positive and sophisticated environment for residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the condominium, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Resident Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering positive relationships. Anticipate resident needs and ensure the delivery of exceptional, personalized service.
  • Staff Supervision and Support: Assist in the supervision, training, and mentoring of various departments, including concierge, front desk, housekeeping, and security. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Financial Assistance: Support the General Manager in budget management, financial reporting, and monitoring expenses. Assist in identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and revenue enhancement.
  • Property Maintenance Oversight: Work with the maintenance team and vendors to ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and safety. Assist in the implementation of preventative maintenance programs and oversee repair projects.
  • Security and Safety Coordination: Assist in the implementation and enforcement of security protocols and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of residents, staff, and the property.
  • Vendor Management Support: Assist the General Manager in managing relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to contracts.
  • Communication and Reporting: Assist in preparing reports, memos, and other communications for residents, staff, and the General Manager. Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
  • Technology and Systems Management: Assist in the implementation and management of technology systems that enhance the resident experience and operational efficiency.
  • Emergency Response Assistance: Support the General Manager in the development and execution of emergency preparedness and response plans.
  • Project Management: Assist with various projects related to property improvements, renovations, or service enhancements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Support: Assist the General Manager in ensuring the property operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and the condominium's governing documents.
  • Deputizing for the General Manager: Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager.

  • Proficiency 1 in Microsoft Office Suite and 2 property management software.

 Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, high-end residential, or related service industries, with supervisory experience.
