Job Summary

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk with experience in the insurance industry and hands-on proficiency with Applied Epic software. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile client payments, carrier payables, and commissions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and account balances within the Applied Epic system
  • Assist with monthly reporting, invoicing, and general ledger entries
  • Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding balances
  • Support the accounting team with audits, reconciliations, and administrative tasks

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Applied Epic is required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Education & Experience

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an insurance brokerage or agency.
