Job Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk with experience in the insurance industry and hands-on proficiency with Applied Epic software. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile client payments, carrier payables, and commissions
- Maintain accurate financial records and account balances within the Applied Epic system
- Assist with monthly reporting, invoicing, and general ledger entries
- Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies and outstanding balances
- Support the accounting team with audits, reconciliations, and administrative tasks
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in Applied Epic is required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Education & Experience
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an insurance brokerage or agency.
