Position Summary

The Regional Channel Business Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing channel strategies with partners like insurance brokers and other centers of influence, focusing on growing referral revenue for Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services. Key responsibilities include building partner relationships, executing sales plans, providing partner training and support, and analyzing performance data to achieve sales goals. This role requires strong sales, communication, and analytical skills, with an expectation for independent work, travel, and an energetic, modern sales approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and executive comprehensive channel strategies to accelerate sales growth and revenue generation through regional partnerships.
  • Cultivate and sustain high-impact relationships with channel partners – including insurance brokers and other key influencers – to foster long-term collaboration and trust.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop actionable business plans, define success milestones, and drive execution toward shared revenue and performance goals.
  • Deliver targeted training and ongoing support to empower channel partners with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively position and sell Vensure's PEO solutions.
  • Lead regular performance reviews with partners to evaluate outcomes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and satisfaction benchmarks.
  • Drive market penetration by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners that align with Vensure's growth strategy and values.
  • Gather and analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and continuously refine channel approaches.
  • Partner with internal sales teams, operational departments, and executive leadership to navigate complex prospects, client, and partner engagement with agility and precision.
  • Frequent domestic travel will be required to attend team onsite meetings, client visits, customer events, industry conferences, and training sessions. This may include air travel, ground transportation (including cars, taxis, or rideshare services), and in some cases potential public transportation.
  • Build, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.
  • Attend webinars and training to stay up to date on best practices related to the company and department.
  • Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs) preferred.
  • Experience with Professional Employer Organization (PEO) products and services is often preferred.
  • Previous experience and proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and demonstrated ability to learn other applications as needed.
