Our customers include several major mass volume retailers, warehouse clubs, home centers, sporting goods retailers, buying groups, independent retailers, and online retailers. We are dedicated to continuing our explosive growth beyond our current product category, to include sporting goods and hardware products.

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a dynamic National Account Manager who is ready to take the next step and join our highly motivated sales team, develop sales goals, targets and achieve revenue plans. This position will report to our Chief Revenue Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans to achieve business objectives and monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and meet / exceed your sales plan.
  • Previous history of calling on major retail National Accounts:
    • Club channels, home centers and Ecomm expertise a must
  • Negotiate and close agreements with major customers.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (such as marketing, product development, and customer service) to ensure customer needs are met and projects are executed successfully.
  • Project management of account initiatives; driving all aspects through to fruition in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in management manufacturer reps
  • Prepare internal account review detail, quarterly, for delivery at Executive Team Review
  • Identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • Know the competition, including accounts, products, pricing, and market positioning.
  • Strong understanding of basic finance principles with hyper focus on driving profitable growth.
  • Embrace and execute 80/20 time and project management as a priority.

Education & Experience

  • Proven experience in account management principles:
    • Fact based selling
    • Forecasting
    • Sales analytics
    • Pricing and programming negotiation
    • Strategic selling
  • Proven history in new business development; gaining incremental new accounts.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business software
  • College degree in a related field
