Position Summary

The Quote Specialist is responsible for preparing and managing quotations for foodservice equipment and supply projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with sales, purchasing, and project management teams. The Quote Specialist ensures that quotes are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time to meet client expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations for foodservice equipment and supply projects.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop competitive quotes.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure quote accuracy.
• Maintain pricing databases and update cost information regularly.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery information.
• Ensure timely submission of quotes to clients and follow up as needed.
• Track and manage quote status, providing updates to the sales team and management.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pricing and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with foodservice equipment and supplies is a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoQuotes, ERP systems, project tracking tools.

 Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quoting, estimating, or a related role, preferably in foodservice distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quoting software (e.g., AutoQuotes or similar).
