We are a fast-growing, high-energy tax firm committed to accuracy, exceptional client service, and providing a supportive work environment. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced, bilingual Tax Preparer to join our in-office team. Position Summary 

We are looking for a skilled in-person Tax Preparer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience preparing both personal (1040) and business (1120/1120S/1065) tax returns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working with complex tax scenarios. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and compliant individual and business tax returns
  • Handle complex filings including Trusts, Estates, Foreign Income, FBAR/FinCEN 114, and multi-state returns
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients in both English and Spanish
  • Review financial records, receipts, statements, and supporting documents
  • Provide tax planning guidance and identify potential credits and deductions
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
  • Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with tax software (e.g., Drake, Lacerte, ProSeries, etc.)
  • Ability to work in person at our office location
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience preparing both personal and business tax returns
  • Experience with Trusts, Estates, FBAR, and Foreign Income is also highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • EA (Enrolled Agent) credential - Preferred.
  • Experience preparing Trust & Estate tax returns - Preferred.
  • Experience with FBAR and foreign income reporting - Preferred.
  • Experience with IRS correspondence or audit support - Preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-volume tax office - Preferred.
