Electrical Foreman - FL - On Site

We are looking for an Electrical Foreman to join our team working on high-end residential projects. You would be responsible for overseeing and leading a team at times to ensure the safe, on-time, and high-quality installation of complex electrical systems. Key duties include supervising electricians, managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients and other trades, ensuring code compliance, and troubleshooting issues, while also providing training and mentorship to the crew.
Responsibilities
- Supervision and Leadership: Lead and manage the electrical crew, providing clear direction, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, track progress, identify potential issues, and manage the budget to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Oversight: Interpret blueprints, plan wiring layouts, and ensure all electrical work adheres to current codes, industry standards, and project specifications.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, conduct site inspections, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordination and Communication: Act as the main point of contact for project managers, architects, engineers, and homeowners, coordinating with other contractors and trades to ensure smooth project flow.
- Material and Equipment Management: Ensure the right tools, materials, and equipment are available on-site and manage their delivery and use.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience: Extensive experience in the electrical construction in high-end residential or commercial projects with a proven track record of leading teams.
- Licensing: A valid Journeyman Electrician license is ideal but not required
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing a team and interacting with clients.
- Technical Expertise: Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, materials, tools, and diagnostic procedures.
- Code Knowledge: In-depth understanding of all applicable electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
