Position Summary
The Technical Applications Director will lead and manage the company's core business applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems. This role requires a strong technical background combined with leadership experience to drive efficiency and support business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage ERP system (NetSuite), e-commerce platforms, and Salesforce for business analytics.
- Ensure integration and data flow between systems to support operations, finance, sales, and marketing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and system performance.
- Provide strategic guidance on technology decisions and application enhancements.
- Lead and mentor two direct reports:
- Senior Systems Integration Specialist
- Senior Data Analytics Specialist
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; provide on-call support as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- ERP systems (NetSuite preferred; Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics acceptable).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and data analytics tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong understanding of system integration and business process optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- 5–7+ years of technical experience in ERP and business applications.
- Proven leadership experience with direct reports.
- Industry Background: Manufacturing and consumer products (B2B and B2C).
